Here is the story:  Martin Scott Winery sells out of its wine every year within The Wenatchee Valley.  I approached Momma Judi and Poppa Mike and said "if that is the case, why not deliver in the most fuel efficient manner that we can?".  Answer:  Surley and the "Big Dummy" bicycle.  (Quite a fitting name for the person riding it!)

This beast holds up to 200 Pounds of weight on its booty!  I had it specially made from Free Range Cycles in Seattle, WA.  Talk to Kathleen if your interested, she's one of a kind!

Now I deliver wine Monday through Thursday, 30 to 60 miles a week by bicycle.  Honestly....how local is that?!?  Its Martin Scott's way of both thanking our local customers for their support, and thanking plant earth for helping us on our way.  Here we are, saving the world one bottle at a time!!
