Description:
Little known grape produced mostly in France. Notably blended in some important French wines. Brings dark color and a luscious fruity mid-palate with a bit of pepper. Willingly influenced by our Re-Coopered Balkan oak barrels. Subtle, warming, full-bodied wine with a little tannic grip.

Food Pairing:
Grilled or roasted meats, sausage, and stews.

Specification:
Predominately Counoise with a small amount of Syrah, Mouvedre, Zinfandel mixed in.  Aged 18 months total in Re-Coopered Balkan oak barrels. Alcohol 14.6%. pH 3.31, Brix 23.6, TA 0.69
