This variety puts Argentina on the wine map. Remarkable bright first impression gives way to a dark berry finish (blueberries and blackberries). There is also a garden quality to it..herbs,earth and floral notes. Chocolate and a hint of pepper weave through the solid finish. Six months on New French oak. A great food partner. Fruit grown on Shaw Vineyard, Red Mountain AVA.
Serve with grilled meats or especially prime rib and a thick steak. Also suggested was Beef Fajitas and Andouille Sausage.
100% Malbec. Aged 18 months total; 6 months new French oak and 12 months American Oak barrels. Alcohol 14.3%
