This fruit was fermented at optimum ripeness and initially aged for 8 months in new French Radeaux barrels. Cellar life was completed in experienced Bulgarian and American barrels. The result is our finest red wine to date and a tribute to our grandson, Ryder. The wine was bottled after crossflow sterile filtration, on May 2015. First impression was tight, stiff, no mid-palate. However, at this date, substantial awakening of subtle components has revealed the Red Mountain impact.
