2016 Peddler's White Wine
Chardonnay, the dominant contributor at 95% and Pinot gris at 5%, and are the components of this “in house” blend of popular white varietals grown on this Vineyard. The dry Chardonnay is offset with the slightly sweet mandarin Muscat and complexed with the granny apple of the Appleblock Riesling. Peddler is the namesake of our younger son Chris, who in his earlier adventures delivered our wines the clean way- by bicycle, and with up to 200 pounds of wine loaded onto the rack each trip, it’s no small task.
Chicken, seafood. Cheeses would include: Dry Jack, Gouda, Gruyere, Monterey Jack, Ricotta and Sheep cheese.
Stainless steel, no oak. Fermented over a 17 day period then blended. Alcohol 13.7% with Residual Sugar at 0.9%
